I'm so excited!! DH and I FINALLY booked our trip on Monday(11/6)!!! I've been telling him for months, "We NEED to AT LEAST book our room at POP." "What's POP?", he'd ask. :faint: Excuse me???? Where has he BEEN the past year-and-a-half??? Oh, yeah... NOT on the DIS boards. :rolleyes1

Anywho... The best thing is... Are you ready???...

[Insert dramatic music...]

I found a code on MouseSavers and saved us about $300!!!! Now I am finally the Disney World trip planner that I have always wanted to be!!! I feel like I'm invincible! I can do anything!!!!! Heck, I think I'm going to go right now and make ADRs for a Cindy's breakfast. princess:

Is this a normal side effect of using a code? Code-a-sidus anyone? :confused3

Now, I did plan our Disneymoon last year, but I didn't really feel like I was on my 'A' game because the excitement of getting married sorta outweighed the excitement of going to Disney World - but only by a grain of Pixie Dust. :goodvibes

So, now here I am :surfweb: at the computer, still looking at menus, even though our ADRs are already set, because I just did that today:

Jan. 8 - Chef Mickey's Dinner
Jan. 9 - Rose and Crown Lunch
Jan. 10 - Boma Dinner - I can't wait to eat here again! I'm almost looking more forward to this than I am the parks!!!
Jan. 11 - Grand Floridian Cafe Lunch
Jan. 13 - Kona Cafe Dinner
Jan. 14 - Kona Cafe Breakfast - but this will probably change. We may just eat at Captain Cook's for breakfast, so I can get the Tonga Toast, and use the TS for Olivia's or something.

I got all the times I wanted and everything. Which I'm taking as a good sign. I'm hoping that it means that there aren't going to be very many people there while we are. ;)

And while I'm on the topic of other people. I hope I see another DISer. That would be fantabulous. I already have my decorated Lime Green Mickey Head attached to my purple Baggallini. And it says 'DIS' on it. :teeth: So if you're there too, and you see me, please say 'Hi'. Otherwise, all my obsessing would be in vain. :guilty:

Stay tuned for the next installment... :dance3:

Codes are the best. I was totally shaking when I found mine and it worked and they took almost $800.00 off my package!!!

I feel ya! I totally know what you felt. Good for you!

Ooh, I'll be there about the same time as you! (Jan 8-17!) My baggalini is lime green, though :)

monymony3471, I'm so glad to know that I'm not really crazy! :D

Crystal, I just love your trip reports! I was going to take a solo trip until I got engaged last year. Oh well! :teeth: Your reports are so much fun to read, and I just love all your pics. I was at Ripley's Aquarium a couple of weeks ago, and I saw some of those little fish that sucks up the rocks and then spits them back out and I was like, "Hey! I wonder if they are related to Later???" I'm sure DH really did think I was crazy after that. I had to explain it to him and everything... :rolleyes1

Are the codes you're finding just for room discounts? I search and search for the best deals, sometimes missing them because I think I can do better and then they're gone. We go late jan. and are staying off site. I'm debating TourGuide Mike, but now I can't find the Unofficial Guide to WDW 2006 that i got from the library so I'll have to pay for that (and probably find it the week after I do), so I feel guilty spending another $20 that I could just be planning myself. We were there 2 yrs ago for 2 park days and 4 yrs ago for 4 park days.

Where are you finding these codes. I have had no luck. Then once you find them, where are you applying them too. I didn't see anyplace on the DW ressie page to insert a code.

Ahh! I'm so excited!! We've added some days to our trip!! Now we're leaving on January 5th, instead of January 7th, and we're coming back on the 16th instead of the 15th. We're going to be staying at DH grandmothers house for the extra nights. She lives in Florida. I can't wait to see her again! She is just so much fun to be around; she is hysterical!! :woohoo:

I feel like I still have so much to do before we leave!

I still need to:

1.) Decide whether or not I want to change our ressies for Chef Mickey's from 8PM to 5PM on the original first day

2.) Put my souvenir money on a Disney gift card. Really. I feel like a little kid doing this... But... I just think it will be so much fun to go around shopping at WDW with my lil' ol' Disney Gift Card!!

3.) Write out the final schedule and reservation numbers in my Passporter; on the Passpockets

4.) Make Mousekeeping envelopes

5.) Write out an 'official' shopping list for the trip

6.) Print out my Dining Plan points chart

7.) Make a window decoration for our room at POP

8.) Decide on, and order, a special cake for our lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe

Oh... I DO have alot of stuff to do before the trip!!! :surfweb: And I could have swore there were a few more things... I hope I can get everything done! I'll probably be able to do most of it while DH is away on his skiing trip! :sunny: Since I have a whole month off school, and a few weeks off from work.. I hope I don't forget anything!!

Oh! And I got the code from mousesavers.com, and used it when I booked with AAA. :thumbsup2
