I am sooooooo ready for the 2017 rates to come out so I can book our Feb 2017 package. I check the site every day, sometimes several times a day hoping Disney would release early. I have our room reserved. I am going to bust while waiting for the rates to come out.

We are only doing the room, so I will be calling at 499 days I just know it

You are close to the 499 day limit even if they would come out now.

Same here! We are going March 17-26 and I am dying to start really planning! I have mock plans all made up but it really depends on where we stay...Once I know where we are staying then I can tweak our plans and make everything real, lol

I beleive they usually have some sort of discount, I think they do the stay, play, & dine type thing in the beginning of the year. If you google Disney discounts through the years, you should be able to see their past discounts and they are usually almost the same through the years. Although they don't usually get released until november/december, but you can always book now and then call when they release the discounts and see if you can get it applied to your reservation

The way Disney has been pushing price increases, I would not count on that.

Look at the increase in prices for party tickets. I wouldn't be surprised if there's at least a 10% increase. They are pushing increases in everything. If it doesn't sell, they can have special offers.

We're also looking at February (maybe early March) but haven't booked a room yet. I'm checking about once a week to see if anything new has been added.

As someone pointed out, the past two trips we've gone there has been a "Stay Play Dine" offer where you get a discount as long as you package your room/tickets and add a meal plan. We're hoping they do something like this again but know nothing is certain.
