It takes a lot of work to get a game room off and running. I've had games that weren't visited at all. Here's what I do when I'm running a game or a quest:
1. I post on the DIS to let everyone here know what's going on. Lot's of DIS folks will see it, and come just to support another DIS person.
2. When I open the game, I send messages in the game to some of my friends. Don't just send out "Come here" in your message--that just annoys many players. I usually write, "My new game is open tonight. Please come check it out if you want." If you're polite about it, most friends will stop by to check it out.
3. The games always start off slow. I usually ask some of my friends to hang out in the room so that the room gets near the top of the popular list. Once the room hits three Mickey heads, people usually find it on their own.
I didn't see you game last night, but if you are waiting for 10 people before starting, that could take a while. It's all right to wait a couple of minutes, but if you have people waiting more than three or four minutes, they are going to get mad and just leave. Be prepared to start your game with fewer players sometimes.
Hope that helps you
