Well in a nut shell there was a neighborhood cat that for the past month has been hanging out at my house and had a large lump sticking out of his back leg, well I for the past 3 weeks have been putting hot compress on it cleaning it out and then it started to split open so I questions the owner and asked if he was going to take the cat to the vets he said no so I told him I was taking him. I took him to the vets today and the lump was a large tumor the size of a peach, but was self contained and he should be just fine for me to pick up tomorrow. I'm so mad that I waited and didn't question the man who owned him sooner and taken him to the vets sooner but he will now be loved by a family who cares and he will be the only pet we have, so I hope I know what I am doing with him.
*Update*
The cat is home and doing well he's not quite sure what happened to him he has 37 stitches and the cut is like a Y what an ugly looking mess it is, but the best part is antibiotics for 7 days it just took me 20 minutes to do this as I didn't want to hurt him but he is eating and using the litter box so this should get easier I hope.
