I am so bummed!

I pulled out my Disney Rewards card yesterday to update for our April trip and realized that it had expired in December. There were $45 on it and since it expired I can't get them back. Had I realized, I would have rolled them over onto the new card! When I called to get my new card with up to date accumulated money, I asked if there was anything I could do and they said "sorry, they are gone". What a bummer.

Another thing you can do so you don't have to worry about it, is to use them to buy a disney gift certificate on the Disney Store website.

That way you don't have to worry about it expiring, and it can be used to pay for a trip or cruise.

You just have to put it out of your head, like a bounced check. You gotta stop beating yourself up about it.

I usually 'make up' for it mentally and call it a day. Like skip 2 Burger Kings by making the effort to pack sandwiches and drinks in the cooler instead. Than call it even. Or even better, wiped clean!

Just fyi, the rewards can't be rolled over onto a new card. Once you load them on a card, they stay there until you use them or the card expires. So, only load when you're actually ready to spend them!
