Except now, you realize, if you want to enjoy the suite life, you can only take you and Kevin + 1 at the RPR or HRH. I always found that odd ... they let 5 sleep on top of each other in a standard RPR room, but only let 3 in a 600+ sq foot King Suite. Hmppphhh.

Jodie - that is exactly why we had to start staying at the Portofino for our family of 5. If we wanted a suite, Portofino was it.

But once you have done the Villa Suite - well, you are spoiled for life. King suite? What king suite?

Tell your husband that the walk between the Portofino and the Beach Club is quite short! And from there, it is just a few more steps. So, to break up that looooong walk between PBH and the parks, you do have to make the requisite pitstop at the Beach club.

Damo, MotherFletcher and our family have all pulled it off. And thanks to MotherFletcher, I found out that Brian is "the guy" over at the Portofino! He is so fantastic and will work hard to get you the suite. You would certainly have clout with all your stays at Universal!!

Does the portofino suite sleep more than 3? I actually already told my son that we would have to just take 3 next time. Its not like we're movie stars like damo or anything!

We were upgraded to the Portofino Suite last summer. It is a parlor attached to either a King Room, or a Queen Room or both. So, I guess you could have 4 in the Queen Room and another 2 on the pull out in the parlor area. There is a full bath in the parlor area so it isn't too bad.

We actually had both the King and Queen Rooms and there were 7 of us total.

Portofino suite technically will sleep 8 with both bedrooms, 5 with just the queen bedroom and 3 with just the King bedroom. For some reason, at least with us, they won't let you count the parlor as a sleeping room even though it has a pull-out couch. So, the standard 5 people in the double queen and the standard 3 in the king bedroom.

Villa suite...ah the memories (throw club in there too...now that was a platinum upgrade to remember).

Don't forget to use that platinum card at other Loews around North America.
