I am now a mother of FOUR!!!!

Congratulations! As said before, those are some lucky kids to have you and your husband as parents!

As far as I'm concerned you are some of society's true heroes!

Best of luck to you!

That is so awesome. Congatulations, all the love and best wishes to all of you.

2 boys that are 4 you're gonna need a ton of luck too. :p

Wonderful news! :sunny: Congratulations to you all!

It really is a great thing you did, helping four kids from falling through the cracks! It makes no difference in my opinion if you bear them yourself or adopt, the result is the same, you are responsible for these lives and they so depend on you. Children don't remember the birth, they always remember who was there for them when they scrape knees and require ER visits! Enjoy YOUR kids!

How way cool!!! Congrats! Wow, 8, 6, 4, and 4. Is the girl the 6 or 4yo? Have a great time and take lots of pictures!

Thank you all so much! Things have been going so smoothly so far. We even made it out of the house on time this morning (which was a challenge for me with just 2)! It is looking like some of the kids' delays that we were told about are not as bad as they were made out to be, so that is always good to find out.

Tigger&Belle - the girl is 6. I'm really struggling with this hair thing. I can't do more with mine than blow dry it straight or put it in a ponytail! So little girl hair has really got me confused!

I am so anxious to take the kids on their first trip to WDW. We took Luke and Joshua in May 2003 and they are dying to go back and to take their new brother and sister. I'm sure this next trip will be much different than the first!

Congratulations from another mom of 4 (mine are DD16, DD12, DS8 and DD6). Remember that you are now outnumbered, so you might was well give up and work with them rather than against them. On the other hand, you have just doubled your daily hug and kiss quota for the day! A table for six isn't bad-never short on conversation, and there is still room for the occassional friend in the minivan! Holidays are more fun- and there is always someone to play with (or fight with, as the case may be). Does make your wallet/purse a little more full with all the pictures. Don't worry about the hair thing. Pony tails are great, and you can learn "fancier" styles together. The "doing together" is much more important than the final product! She will either end up extra feminine or a real tomb boy with all those brothers- and boy will she know how to handle men!

Enjoy them- they will be grown up before you know it....

YIPPEEE!! I love happy adoption stories (I'm an adoptive mama, too). Blessings to you and your family!

I had a braiding book for fixing my DD hair when she was little. I think it was a Klutz braiding book, but can't remember for sure. Oh, I just did a search and found it. http://klutz.com/catalog/product.php?itemNo=1119&cat=search It broke everything down into simple steps and even klutzy me could do a lot of it. That might help, along with just practicing. Is her hair long? I miss fixing (or trying to fix) little girls hair. My little girl is 16yo and I also have 3 boys.

Congratulations! I'm glad it is all working so well. Best of luck in this happy (and stressful) time!
