Chefs de France is one of my faves. I love that little room off to the side as I can watch everyone walking by. It was fun people watching.

Next time I go I have to do the movies in Epcot as it has been years since we have. Mark and I usually do at least two of them every trip; it's just hard when your feet are killing you and you have to stand.
Really see the rain in the monorail pic. Yikes! It was horrid!

Your pulled pork sandwich looks a lot better than Flame Tree BBQ's. Mary's beef sandwich looks really good, too.

I liked the one at Flame Tree, but this one was 50% percent better! Mary said she enjoyed hers too.

How exciting that Andy and Des are going to Ireland! My grandfather was born there and several family members have made it over to visit. I hope they have a safe and wonderful trip!

Loving the update, and the sassy girls picture at DHS! OKW, and Olivia's is so fantastic. That pulled pork sandwich looks good. I will have to try it though.........I'm real picky when it comes to BBQ. But hey, even at Olivia's that grilled cheese sandwich looks like a big winner too!

Marv, those girls no how to be angels AND how to be sassy! Olivia's really is a hidden gem.

Nice relaxing day so far, sleeping in a bit, taking your time to get to the park. Walking around in the shops. Sounds great.

It was the perfect thing to do after the late night before.

Wow, Ireland, so cool. I plan for my boys to study Ireland this year and hopefully do a presentation at the International Fair our homeschool group does in the spring. Hope they have a great time

That is awesome what you plan for your boys. This whole trip was originally so they could see Garth Brooks perform for the first time in 12 years and then the shows got cancelled. But the kids kept the trip. Ireland screwed up that one...70,000 people from OUTSIDE of Ireland were going to those shows. They lost a whole lot of money on food, hotels, etc.

No empty nest yet. The lease starts August 1, but they won't be fully moved out until September 1 when Des' current lease ends.

It's not even 8:30 in the morning, and I'm hungry already. That pulled pork sandwich just looks GOOD! And I love a good French Dip sandwich....

Seriously...I could eat one three times a day I enjoyed it that much.

Add me to the list of people who think that pork sandwich looks wonderful! I don't eat beef or pork at home, but on vacation, all bets are off!

I think we should all have an EPIC DISmeet and all order the sandwich! There's a lot of things I don't eat at home or drink at home, but I will do whenever I'm in Florida.

That sucks that the pool was closed.

yes; I got pink, teal and black ones with spots and Mickey heads...I love them.

So far, one picture and nothing else. But he is only doing FB when he has time and sending me a picture when he has time. Therefore, I'm not expecting much until they get home.

I read the posts and saw the pictures of those delicious meals before lunch but clicked out before I remembered to comment. Maybe it was my subconcious that did it because I was starving at the time.

That could very well be it, Lisa. I know I've done that on a couple of TR's.

Wonder what was up with the gripey pool guy? Like somebody else said, maybe he was on poop duty and in a bad mood.

I have no idea. I think he may have been tired of telling people the pool was closed. He needed to put on his happy face.

I try to pack enough clothes to never do laundry on vacation. Doesn't sound like a vacation chore to me.

With the cost of luggage on planes, I tend to always do some laundry. Usually I only do it in Marco unless we are staying DVC and it's free.

To bad about the pool but I agree sounds like a bio hazard. We get them at the club now and then and it's not fun for anybody.

But this was first thing in the a.m. and the pool hadn't even opened yet.

Lunch looked good. I love pulled pork.

Maybe the pool problem was a pump issue and the cranky guy was just trying to fix it? Our pool guy can be cranky too, he takes it personal when the pool has mechanical issues.

Yes, please post photos. I sent my 16 year old daughter to Ireland with a brand new camera and got barely any pictures. She said it was green and looked a lot like Oregon, so she didn't take any pictures.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but it sounds like your typical 16 year old. I promise I will try to get some from him and post.

Great updates! Love the Epcot stories & adventures! You know, I have NEVER taken the boat across that lagoon before! Chef's was a good time for us, but I've only been once, would go back though! Glad the girls liked their cheeseburgers!!

You've never taken the boat? Get on that girl. Chefs has become a favorite, although Mark and I are skipping it in September as we have some new places we are trying.

I'm going to try to do an upate tonight after dinner and grocery shopping. In the meantime, I promised I'd try to share a picture here and there of Ireland while the kids are visiting.

Andy texted me this morning that they were there safe and sound (except the goofball sent the email to my office email and NOT my home email, so when I got up this morning to get ready for work I panicked a bit when there was no email from him as I knew they should have landed like two hours before I got up). I don't expect to talk to them at all...they don't want all that international calling on their phones and asked no one to call or text and they'll post on FB, Des will send an email update every day and they'll send me pictures when they can.

While we were waiting for our second ride someone all of a sudden said "Kathy?" And I was like who knows me here. And then I realized who it was...it was PrincessA from here on the DIS, Sara. Her family ended up being on Avery's and my second ride:

I texted Mary that we were getting off and she was meeting us at the exit of the dump shop with Cayley. After our great ride, we walked outside to talk to Sara and her family for a bit.

As we walked through the dump shop I saw this shirt...I thought it was really cute.



And we all know that if there isn't a picture, it didn't happen. Our DISmeet with Sara (PrincessA):



Avery was finishing up whatever Cayley had ordered before we headed on our way.



It was really nice meeting you, Sara, and your wonderful family. Don't worry folks...we will run into them again (but no picture next time ).
