We had plans to meet up at some point, but it was so fun to meet while waiting for the same ride.

I blurted out laughing when I read this and woke up Melody who is sleeping on the couch.

Sorry Mari… I know you have a tough job keeping up with all the TRs. You do a great job.

Absolutely fitting. Wonder if they were out of the airport before they started pounding Guinness.

I think they'd gotten to the hotel. They also went on a tour of the Jameson factory...Andy was one of the volunteers to do all the sampling.

All caught up again Those magic shots are really cute. If I sent out a Christmas Card I would use one. I remember getting the text about you guys getting stuck. Very cute pics with Tink too. It was nice to sleep in and then go to DHS. You are doing a great job as usual And I get to see you and Mark in a week KID FREE

They really turned out great, Mary. Poor Cayley...she was so determined to make it until the end. 4 days girlfriend until Vegas. Can't wait.

oh that Tot shirt is very cute! Believe it or not I've only ridden it once!I still haven't done rockin rollercoaster either but thats because my oldest is not into thrill rides while my youngest hasn't been tall enough or we just haven't had the time now that she is.I will do it soon though.

I think I need that shirt; I hope you get to do TOT and R&R (I'd be sitting out with your oldest thought on R&R).

Mary......I go to Disney with just me and my 2 girls alot,how often do you go?My girls are 11 and 9.

Mary doesn't get here as often as she should , but it is usually once a year, sometimes twice. But they are taking a break and saving points for Aulani in 2016.

I'm glad they arrived safely in Ireland. I can't think of a better way to say "we're in Ireland" than that picture.

happy Andy and Des made it safely to Ireland....Jim did a golf course renovation there before I met him for about a month, they went to the pub every night and drank Guinness instead of eating dinner, said it more than filled them up!

Glad to hear that the kids (yes, they are always our kids no matter how old they are) made it to Ireland safe and sound. Looks like they jumped right in to experiencing the culture.

Love your TOT pictures. I love that ride, even though no matter how many times I ride it it freaks me out. But that's why I love it!

Little secret...it freaks me out a bit too.

ToT photos always make me laugh! So many different facial expressions in one ride car!!

I normally try to pose but didn't even think of it with Avery with me (had to keep an eye on my girl).

Kathy, I am with you when it comes to the ToT; I love that ride. I can't think of an attraction in WDW that envelopes you into the whole experience like that one. From the moment you walk through the gates, and enter the lobby, down into the boiler room and then of course the service elevator, it is just awesome. Too bad I am the only one in my family that loves this ride. I have to bribe and twist Carolyn and Alyssa's arm to "take one for the team," and ride it.

Anytime we overlap again, I'll be happy to ride with you.

Glad to see you were able to have a DIS meet with Sara (PrincessA) and of course you have the proof. You have an incredible following with so many wanting to meet you or see you again. You can count me among the many.

This trip is shaping up to be an all around true Disney experience. Between the rain, and the getting stuck on POTC for an hour, I don't know what would be more Disney!

Bless your hearts, but y'all are making this girls trip a really great trip. I'm not surprised in any way that Cayley was the one to stay behind and do EMH with Ms. Kat. What a trooper to hang in there so long, especially after getting stuck.

ToT with one of your girls, what a way to start one's day. No need for coffee after that ride! At least not for me, with you I know better.
As you know from my last TR update (last year some time ) Mackie still won't ride ToT with me. I think I've convinced her to try it next time we go. After riding the Steel Eel at SeaWorld I think we've all convinced her she has a better grasp on handling the thrill rides and could do ToT no problem. We'll just have to see.

I'm surprised Mackie won't ride it. I hope she does ride on your next trip.

They've already left Dublin. Andy is NOT a fan of zoos so I doubt they went.

That TOT with PrincessA in the back row I was saying on her trip report all the kids in that picture look terrified except Avery. She's the only one that looks like she's having fun... holding on for dear life but having fun

Avery's done it several times and likes it; Sara's kids not so much.

I had hoped to do an update this weekend, but I was busy cleaning, shopping, getting some sun and packing for Vegas (Mark is picking me up at work on Thursday at 4:30 and we go right to the airport from there). I'll try to do one tomorrow if I get the time.

In the meantime, the only other picture I've seen from Ireland thus far. This was in Killarney. Des said it was too beautiful not to share before they got home (they are limiting their phone use until they get WiFi at places and it's been far and few between in places).

No, there is never anyone good there in August. We are having dinner with friends on Friday and Sunday (these are the friends who insisted I go when they found out Mark was supposed to be there for work and they were going for a wedding) and dinner with Mary (my girls' trip partner in crime) and her husband, Jeff, on Saturday night and we are having lunch on Friday with a long time friend from Chicago (he owned the bar that Mark and I both worked at before we got married). Thanks...I hope I win a bundle too.

I have been stalking friends of ours who are also in Ireland!!! If they run into Chicago people it's probably Kristy and family!!!
One of these years i will get there.. But not until the kids will be old enough to enjoy it and can partake in some Guinness!

Yes we were; I guess I forgot to mention that in the update when we went to the MK after Epcot. We found them at the Emporium. It was a hoot watching the CM walking in with them and the people following him.

Wendy, so glad to see you back. Yes, you and I do have opposite tastes on attractions. Thanks, I'm really looking forward to Vegas...haven't been in about 10-12 years. The kids are really enjoying themselves. I can't wait to see all the pictures when I get back from Vegas (they come home our first full day gone).

After finishing up TOT and meeting with Sara and her family and our snack, it was time to move on. We had FP+ burning on our Magic Bands. And where were we going?
