I Am NOT a Bad, Bad Baby -- TR final updates 9/12

I hope and pray that you will both have the wisdom you need to make the right decisions in all of these situations. Hang in there...it will get better.

Thank you, Mark.

:faint: C'mon! I keep telling you to wait until we're sitting down before you drop a bombshell like that.

:lmao::lmao::lmao: I always know I can count on you for a laugh.

You always look so intent on defeating Zurg. Not that I have room to joke about those ride photos. :rotfl2:

Yes, I wouldn't talk.

Just wanted to pop in and say "Morning and I'm thinking about you guys."

You are a very good friend, Lisa. Thank you. :)

Kathy, I was so sad to hear what happened with Mark's job...I can hope that this will allow you two to move toward your dream of moving to Florida sooner rather thank later. You know my thoughts, prayer and love are with you, my friend.

Thank you, Christine; it is truly appreciated it.

Thankful your mom is home and know the decisions to be made will not be easy...continued love and prayer during these difficult days. Gentle hugs.

Thanks again.

We were at Disney when you began this TR so I've quite a bit of catching up to do! So enjoyed all the FB pics while you were there!

No worries...I definitely know how that is. I enjoyed your pictures as well.

Going back to do some reading! xo

ETA - loving the pics! The girls are so darn cute! It is fun to see them growing into not so little girls now...pretty as ever. One of these days I will have to stay at OKW - always avoided it because it is so spread out and would want to be reasonably close to the Hospitality House. Also worried about the long bus rides but you all seem to do just fine. The pics you and Karin post of the resort and Olivia's sure make it tempting to stay there soon.

Seriously, the rides to the parks are not that bad. I would say AK is the furthest and MK is exactly 13 minutes with the right bus dirver. It's a great resort. And there is an internal bus that goes around the resort.

Sending lots of good vibes to your family

Thanks, Julie.

Glad to hear you are keeping your trips

Mark really needs them after this.

And, your girls trip is going well -- Pooh is one of my all time favorites!!

I love the Pooh ride...especially bouncing with Tigger. :)

Sounds like you had a great arrival day :goodvibes

We did, Emma. It was so much fun.

So I left you, we had just finished with riding with Pooh and Tigger. Mary wanted to do the Haunted Mansion so we headed that way. On the way, we needed a bio-break and stopped in what we all call the Rapunzel restrooms.

Let's go see some ghosts, shall we?

When we exited the Haunted Mansion, Wishes was going on. I tried to take pictures as I walked (not a good idea). Spoiler Alert: this is the only time we would see Wishes this trip. :(

From there, it was off to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which we were able to get a FP+ for:

Cayley ended up riding with me because Mary said she couldn't sit with her if she put her hands up in the air...too scared (there's nothing to Cayley). :lmao:

Continued in next post

By this time, we were all done. We needed to get back to the room and unpack and crash for the night. Luckily, we didn't have to get up too early the next morning.

Some pics as we exicted the MK:

We got a bus very quickly and were back at our resort in no time. I took a picture so I'd remember where we were located (just in case we had too many Turtle Krawls one evening and the girls deserted us ;))

We got unpacked, I set the phone for a wake-up call and we were in bed and most of us fell asleep almost immediately.

Up next, our first full day at the World and it is a full one

Wow, you say the next day will be a full one but I think this day definitely was! Seems like you kept going until you couldn't go any more and were ready for bed!

Sorry that this was the only time for wishes. At least you got a couple shots. It is funny to me that the more I go to WDW the less I get to see Wishes. :sad2:

Love the welcome mat and room number pics. That is good planning! ;)

Looks like a great night!

Too funny about the Turtle Krawls! :rotfl2: But a great idea nonetheless to take a picture of where you are, esp in a place that's pretty spread out like OKW.

aw, bummer you didn't get to see Wishes again - but at least you got to see it that time!

BTMRR is such a great ride at night!

Okay, I'm getting caught up now!

First off, absolutely the girls are totally adorable! No wonder you love traveling with them.

Very smart driving to the office and leaving your car there.

Those wheat thins are so good! I thought the same thing when they served them to us in May!

I found it funny that the DIS totally blanked out your street name. :lmao:

Cayley's hat is amazing. I just have to point that out. And she looks so adorable in it.

Turtle Krawl! Mmmmmm.

Olivia's really is a hidden gem. Love that restaurant.

I'm just so sorry for everything that's been going on for you guys. I know that everything will work out for you in the end. I have faith. But absolutely have the attorneys looking over the severance package if it's unacceptable. That's just wrong on so many levels.

Joaquin does the same thing as Cayley! Puts his hands in the air, and we're always needing to keep track of him so he doesn't go flying out. :rotfl2:

So DD12 is a scaredy cat. She WILL go on HM, but she WILL NOT go on it at night time. DDalmost15 is not a scaredy cat. She loves HM, Tower of Terror, etc...but she WILL NOT go on said rides at night time either! So, your girls were much braver than my girls are! :rotfl2:

The picture of the girls "showing thier Disney side" made me chuckle a bit... love how Cayley, the younger one is the "prissy" poser and Avery is the "play it cool" poser...so much like my two! ::yes::

I completely agree with Mary! I'm not the littlest of people and rides like BTMRR where there is an opening at the side and the bar doesn't come down all the way on either of my kids, was terrifying! Of course Lorelai refused to let me hold on to her so I spent many rides on BTMRR terrified she would slide out. Guess it doesn't really happen or we would obviously hear about it and things would change, but scary none the less!

I should have taken a photo of our room number, it would have saved us from going to three doors at POR our first night. :rolleyes1 And that was not our Yeeha Bob night either. ;)

First - loved Mary's intros of the girls! What talented little ladies! And such a fun age - I really miss my girls being that age.

Bummer that your flight took off late... and even more of a bummer that lady had to snore AND use your arm for a pillow... Yikes!

Happy to see that you found Mary and the girls easily enough.

Loved seeing your room pictures... Alli is torn between stating at OKW or GF for her graduation trip (if that's where we decide to go)... Ok - let me rephrase that... If Josh decides to let us go. popcorn::

I've heard great things about Olivia's... Mostly from you - but that's OK - I trust your judgement. ::yes::

Kathy - I am only a little ways into your TR, but I am hoping there are more on your Mom and I hope she is doing better.

I am also very relieved to hear that you are not cancelling your trips... I am a firm believer in having something awesome to look forward to in times of character building...

Looks like you had a great first night, and were able to do many of our favorites!

Loved the "show your Disney side" photo op area... I have a feeling I will be using that area quite a bit on our trip. :rolleyes1

Phew - all caught up!!!

Looking forward to following along and continuing to stay caught up. :lovestruc

Much love and many hugs to you and Mark... :grouphug:

D~

I'm glad they will ride and enjoy the thrill rides. ::yes::

They look so grown here. I hope to see years and years of future pictures as these sort of little girls grow up to be amazing young women with a special love of Disney things.

Is there such a thing as too many turtle krawls? :rotfl2: Just sayin!

Fun night at the MK. I finally got some inside picture of the tangled BRs. Now I just have to remember where they are. :rotfl2:

Cayley's sweatshirt is so cute. Was it actually that cool at night? Seems hard to believe.

Love MK at night! Too bad you didn't get to see Wishes in it's full glory. Last trip we saw bits and pieces while at MK running from ride to ride. MK is my favorite park to do at night less people and I love how everything looks at night there it's just so magical!

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Great photo's once again, Kathy! Always adds to the excitement to enter the Haunted Mansion at night time. Glad you saw a few of the fireworks at Wishes. I think sometimes it's worth missing it to be able to get on rides quicker and easier. Glad you all got a good nights rest.

As always, looking forward to reading more soon! :surfweb:

Once again, sending lots of positive thoughts to you and Mark.

"What shall we do now?"

I'd say some time at the MK after your arrival meal is a pretty darned good start!

Peoplemover followed by Buzz and Pooh is a super itinerary. Gorgeous photo of the castle!

:goodvibes

"Who's Tired?"

You go, girls!

Wow, I'm impressed.

Glad to hear you were able to hit Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder.

Sorry to hear this was your only shot at Wishes!

The Show Your Disney Side sign is really cute- haven't seen that in any other reports yet.

G'Night! Sounds like you all deserve it.

:goodvibes

:scared1: shocked you didn't get to see wishes properly in the trip. I don't think my trip would feel complete without wishes

Looks like you had fun until you dropped! :rotfl2: I'm glad you got to see a little bit of Wishes. We totally missed it last trip - hoping to catch it this year :goodvibes

Sorry you missed part of Wishes, but it sounds like a great MK night :lovestruc Great idea taking a pic of the room number, I forget by the time I get home:rotfl: I can't wait to have a Turtle Crawl, DH says he gets the first one :lmao: DON'T think so buddy!

The girls are real troopers hanging in there that late. Very cute pictures!

I love BTMRR at night. It's one of my favorite after dark rides.

Smart idea taking a photo of your room number. I'm going to have to remember that. We also could use that tip for parking lots. I can't tell you how many times we've wandered around looking for our car.
