I am leaving in 14 for the CP..I am Freaking!

HI! I am freaking here...I am leaving in 14 days for the College Program and I haven't started to pack. I have to pack for fives months! My house is getting done over and so I have everything in my room packed away. So, I can't have luggage strewn around my room...I am going crazy!

I am a last minute packer also. Having your room packed up does present a problem, but I am sure that everything will be okay in the end. My advice to new CPs coming for the fall semester is PACK WINTER CLOTHES! You do not need a whole bunch of winter clothes, but it does get down to the thirties in Florida. That only lasts for a few weeks. However, it does get cold and winter clothes are virtually impossible to find in Florida. The vast majority of my winter wardrobe was either donated from relatives further north or bought over the Internet. I just thought I would post that because so many people do not believe that it actually gets cold here.

Have fun on your College Program. If you need to know about any current news from WDW, feel free to PM me. I have never been a CP, but I can answer questions too. The upcoming group of CPs will be the seventeenth group I have seen since I started to work here. Who knows, maybe you will get lucky and work on Main Street. Yay!

hehehe... sounds like me... hahaha.... Its going to be 5 months that you will never forget for the rest of your life. remember to find a computer to keep us updated (if you dont have your own, find someone who does, or go to the clubhouse of your houseing complex, or i'm sure a center of excellence). hehehe... if you need anything at all... feel free to ask one of your CP Alumni here on the board..... and most of all.. is have fun, meet lots of people!!!

and the best advice I ever got was, never find yourself sitting in your apartment doing nothing.... always try to go out and have fun, the 5 months just fly by, you can sleep when you get home and go back to school! hahahaa
