I just got confirmation for my LIVE with Regis and Kelly tickets! I am so excited. I wish I knew who their guests were going to be that day.

I am taking a quick trip with my Mom. We will be there from Wed-Sat. She is in a conference Thur and Fri. Her company is paying for the hotel and our dinners. My grama gave me an early Christmas present and paid for my flight/train!! WHOO HOO!!

Here is what we are doing:

Wed- Arrive early. I think our flight lands at 8

Drop off stuff at hotel and grab breakfast
Radio City Music Hall tour
Lunch
Rockefeller Center Tour
NBC studios Tour
Back to Hotel to freshen up
Dinner at Serendipity

Thur- LIVE with Regis and Kelly
Lunch
34th St Walking Tour
Museum of Television and Radio
Pick up Mom and do dinner

Fri-
Sleep in/shop
Lunch
Tour of Grand Central
Cooper Hewitt Design Museum
Dinner with Mom
Winter Concert (Downtown Glee Club)

Saturday-
Breakfast at Cafe Lalo
Outdoor Winter Market
Tour UN
Lunch
Southstreet Seaport
Go Home

Can't wait!! I have a lot of time by myself, but I can't wait still!

Sounds exciting! My mom met Regis and Joy and showed them around the Pittsburgh airport. He mentioned it on his show and showed a picture of her as well as her boss and his wife who were also there to show him around.

So here is my update as promised!! Regis and Kelly were awesome!! I am going to do a full trip report for this, but I wanted to share Regis and Kelly with you.


I arrived around 7:30, since my letter said to arrive at 7:45 a.m. There was already a line around the building. Good thing I dressed warm! I waited around 30 minutes before being let into the building were I recieved my actual tickets. At around 10 minutes to 9:00 a.m. we were led into the studio. Since I was by myself it was easier to get a good seat. I was seated third row right in the middle! The studio was much smaller than it looks on t.v. and I felt like I could just reach out and tough Regis and Kelly. Gellman came out and he is just as cute in person as on t.v. Then Regis and Kelly came out and they are just so cute!! Then the camera came down. Right in front of my face! I could hear them talking, but could only see their bodies!! LOL!! Anyway, I didn't win the trivia prize. Then they went to a commercial break and guess who came to hang out with us? Regis!! I was third row in the center, but there were no rows in front of me. So every break Regis and/or Regis and Kelly would come hang out!! Some people around me were very star struck, but to me they were just people. I mean I have been watching Regis since I was 12 so it kinda feels like you know them!

So after the show I called everyone I knew and they all said the same thing. They didn't see me I knew I was on because the camera kept coming right in front of me. Well the cool thing is that after the LIVE show, they taped the opening and closing segmants for Friday's show since Kelly had the day off. Well for the closing Regis sat in the audience right next the girl to my right. Well sure enough, I was on t.v.!! So if you saw Friday's show, that was me in the pink shirt and white jacket

If you ever have the chance to go, it was a blast! Thanks for all your suggestions!!

It sounds like you had a great trip!! When my mom met Regis, she said he was really nice. He kept commenting on her boss's shirt (it was some Hawaiin style shirt with like fish or something on it LOL), so she went to the mall and bought him a shirt like her boss's and sent it to him. LOL.

Oh Amanda, how did you like the DownTown Glee Club concert? I stayed home to watch DD's baby so I couldn't go that night - DD is the accompanist for the Glee Club and she sang a solo of O Holy Night!!!!!! I hope you enjoyed it!!!!!!

Oh we eneded up not going . We were just so exhausted we had dinner and were back at the hotel by 7:30!!! I am sure it was great. Sorry you missed it too!!
