I am finally getting on with my life after cancer treaments

I turned the corner attitude wise when I had cancer after the doctor told me

"yesterday is gone forever and tomorrow is never promised, but today is here to enjoy so enjoy it"

How right she was. So enjoy today and don't worry about tomorrow. Worrying about tomorrow just takes away from the time of enjoying today.

Congratulations!!! My sister was diagnosed with BC at 26 , she went on to have reconstructive surgery in her right breast and 2 pregnancies later( told her she would not be able to have any children) She is doing great. God is able and he has been blessing her ever since .

Just live for the day, not even a whole one is promised!

On Dec 29th I got he news that it was BACK: Same breast, same Cancer. I'm now 6 wks post op and will have to have Chemo again, Thank God no rad this time. I opted to do a double this time because I just didn't want to deal with it down the road.

Congrats on finishing treatment. Keep up the great attitude. I am not a BC survivor (had a different type of cancer) but I know attitude helps a lot.

My best friend and her sister are both BC survivors. The sister is a two time survivor who opted for a double mastectomy the second time. The three of us are part of a team doing the Susan G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure walk this summer. We are walking to celebrate their survival and in hopes that our daughters will never have to know what a mammogram is. I really think my friend's positive attitude toward the whole "adventure" as she calls it has been key to her survival.
