MCDONALD'S GRILLED BACON RANCH SALAD!!!!!!

Almost everyday I am hungry for one. When I'm out running errands, that is now my choice of something to grab to eat. This i an awesome salad!!!!! Or I think so anyway and my dd even thinks it's good, which is a good thing!!!!

It's filled with different greens - iceberg, romaine, some purple lettuce and some baby type lettuce (sorry don't know names), grape tomatoes that are nice and sweet, peeled carrots (just a few), i think some cabbage, shredded cheese - looks like maybe cheddar and mozzarella, and your choice of grilled or crispy chicken but I get the grilled and bacon.

You can get any type of dressing you want but I'm basically a ranch person. I'm sure the dressing isn't good for me because it's not fat free or low fat but I have a hard time with some of those low fat or fat free dressings.

We stopped at McD's at the mall over the weekend to try this salad and they were all out!
I think I'll get one for me & DH for lunch tomorrow. They look and sound yummy!!

These salads are really good, but be careful how the points add up!!!

The grilled chicken bacon ranch salad is 6 WW points, a package of their ranch dressing is 8, so that's a whopping 14 point meal!
In calories, it's 370+290= 660 calories!

(That's more points than a Quarter Pounder with cheese!!)

I like to opt for the Grilled Chicken Caesar salad (4 points) with 1/2 packet of the Newman's Own® Light Balsamic Vinaigrette (2 points for the whole package)= a 5 point meal.

That's exactly what I get!! It is a nice salad and a much better option (for me) than the other salads.

LOL! I have to agree! Our 3rd graders too. (My DD loves YuGiOh cards!) And since we are twins, can I please have my share of the height in the family?? 4 inches?? 2 inches????

HOLY SMOKES!!!!! 660 CALORIES AND IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE BETTER FOR YOU THAN A CHEESEBURGER!!!!!! YIKES!!!

Glad I checked here because I was trying to figure out what it would be on points if I was still on WW. HOLY SMOKES!!!!!

They are good though - maybe I need to limit them or bring my own dressing - I don't like balsamic vinagerette dressings. I do like the Lite Done Right (or whatever they are called) Ranch dressing. And I think when I was on WW it was very low on points - or lower than regular dressing anyway.
