I am a grown man, and I cried like a baby at Toy Story 3.

:sad: I have to join the ranks too. We went on Father's Day and we all cried. I was embarrassed that I was crying but couldn't help it. When we left it was so sunny out in the parking lot, you could see the tears on my face. Truth is, we all loved it and can't wait to see it again.:yay:

I am doomed....

Me, too.

I also had a bad case of popcorn dust. They must be using an inferior product during these economic times.

Hmmm, interesting. I could have sworn your popcorn bag was empty by then!

I for one will readily admit it, I cried like a baby!!!!

Yes I cried. I took my daughter for Father's Day and we both cried. It was a great movie and made me wish my mom hadn't sold my old toys in a garage sale when I was in college.

I am doomed....

You are SOOOOO doomed, Teresa! Like you, I'm fairly quick to cry, and I was kind of a mess during the movie. Even worse though, was that I cried the next day while I was telling DH about the movie! Couldn't even get the words out... :sad2:

That being said, I can't wait to see it again!! :thumbsup2

Grown man here, too. Toy Story 3 goes on my top 5 tearjerkers list. I was a mess in that theatre, filling my 3D glasses with tears. Watching the last 20 minutes of TS3 plus the first 20 minutes of Up might ruin me for life.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one all choked up. But I held back b/c she had a friend with her. I guess it got to me b/c my DD is 10, an only child, and is outgrowing her toys. I could relate with the 'growing up' part.

I didn't cry at "Up" - just was jawdropped. I do remember the first time I cried at a movie: "Field of Dreams". What an ending!

I also cried two weeks ago watching "Friday Night Lights."

Maybe Teresa & I are more alike than I thought...

DW and I sobbed like babies the first time we watched "UP" - on Christmas Eve last year, lol. We had to pause the movie for like five minutes to compose ourselves, only to have to pause it again later when he has to let Ellie go off of the back of the zepplin at the end. It was almost as bad the second time. We finally were able to make it all the way through without crying on our third try a few days ago , lol.

Only Pixar could make us cry at a "cartoon".

I have to ask: Wheezy doesn't die does he? We love penguins. Hundreds of them around the house (not real penguins, of course). I don't know if DW could handle watching Wheezy die on screen. PM me if there would be spoilers involved.

I have my Kleenex in my purse and the tickets bought.

DS14 says if I cry, he's moving to the other side of the theatre away from me. DD10 asked if I have enough Kleenex to share with her.

I can't wait to see the movie this afternoon. :thumbsup2

I cried at the end. I admit it. Pixar has done it again...another ABOVE EXCELLENT movie and story line as well as another tear jerker for me. UP had me bawling at the beginning and TS3 at the end!!!!!:confused3

I'm 37 years old...man....I was Bawling..tried to hold it back but then realized I didnt care it was a touching finale and I was moved by it. I did go home and drink a few beers, pick my nose and scratch my nards to make up for my behavior though. All is even in man world.

I cried too. My DH cried and even 10-year old cried.

That wasn't the worst "water works" for me. When I saw 'Marley and Me' I sobbed and sobbed for the last 20 minutes of the movie. Even the credits were not enough time for me to look presentable. Even stopping in the bathroom after the credits was not enough time. We were exiting the theater and a woman turned to her husband and said "They must have just watched Marley!". It was pathetic.

After seeing Toy Story 3, my hopes were dashed at trying to convince my DD to give away some of her old toys.

I couldnt even get through Marley and Me the book let alone the movie! I was a reck while reading the book towards the end! My DH is not sentimental or a cryer so I have to hide the tears quite often because I AM especially when it comes to my babies!!!!

I just got home from watching it.

It is an amazing movie. And DS14 didn't move to the other side of the theatre when I cried. :woohoo:

I cried like a baby!!! I realized after this movie that I grew up on these movies and its just sad!!! I finally realized that I'm a grown-up now!!

It starts as that lump in the throat...a catch in your breath...a welling in the eyes...and the waterworks begin.

They aren't just toys.. they are faithful friends that you make adventures with.

Up did me in due to a shared experience with the characters in the beginning.

I cry easily.

The movie that caused out and out bawling was The Notebook.

The book that caused DAYS of crying at unexpected moments was Merle's Door-A tale of a freethinking dog (it's a true story about a dog). You have been warned.
