I have paid for and received a confirmation for seats on our flight next week. I was checking to make sure there hadnt been any changes this morning and noticed that all of our seat numbers now show ???, and it wont let me pick them again. The seats we had chosen show open. Can they kick me out of my seats once Ive paid for and got confirmation? Im waiting for my DH to get home to take a look before I call them.

Yeah, don't even wait until tomorrow (e.g. typical business week). Airline customer service lines are open ALL day, EVERY day. Call NOW.

Ok, I tried to call and the automated system wouldnt connect me to a rep because they are busy with weather related isses and Im not travelling within the next 48 hours and disconnected me!

ETA....I just got a new conf email from them...with no seat assignment for our flight out of MCO. All the others are there. Its just really weird, Ive never had that happen before. I guess I will keep trying to call them and find out what the issue is.

As for the update, Im on hold right now. I wasnt able to get through last night.


Update. They arent sure why it kicked that out of the system. They have us as having paid for the seats, but the seats show available. She put us back in and said that they seemed to "stick"

So I will just keep an eye on it.

woaaaaah dude who u calling a snark? I'm not known for keeping my opins to myself, yet I pride myself on playing nice here...to state that I insinuated you "...had done something wrong..." is bizzare, overly sensitive at the very least.

*when this guy is posted, it represents pulling up a chair waiting for upcoming information on a post. You orginally posted around 4 pmish EST yesterday & seemed to be really upset, figured u'd have posted back by 10:30 am today unless this wasn't resolved yet.

*you posted a really odd scenario the one i highlighted for clarity; that thus far has been unknown to DISboard or even flyertalk. I was waiting for the explanation why your pre-paid seats disappeared...into thin air as it were (that would be a pun)

to u & ur problem, however; i'll admit to being concerned about a possible new AT methodology for non-altruistic reasons. if there is a new policy in place, i'd like to know vs an unfortunate mistake

In the majority of the threads Ive read, the popcorn guy is waiting for a show, as in a debate, a controversial thread. Pair that with the bolding, and I really thought you were saying I had tried to "work" the system. So, once again, I apologize for taking it wrong.

I didnt post again, because my family had just returned from a skiing trip and I was doing laundry...blah. When I got through this morning, they had no idea what the deal was and are taking it as some kind of weird fluke thing.

We're blunt and basically pixie dust-free, but for that exact reason - that the responses here are (for the most part ) factual and unemotional, intended to provide accurate information and help ONLY - with rare exceptions, we tend to avoid the controversial debates.
