"Hillbilly Hoedown" was terrible. I would have preferred counter service I think. Breakfast at Club 33 made it much more palatable.

Food and Wine options at California Adventure were fantastic.

I agree with John, Kevin and now Chris - Hoedown was an awful meal, we also ate there during DIS ABD Version 1.0.

From our having to argue with the staff about where we were supposed to sit, to below average food and service, to lackluster entertainment - just an experience we would rather forget.

Don't get me started on the failure to deliver the promised dessert!

Haha...I forgot about the dessert tease. That was classic.

Right now we are planning a California trip next year, so I liked hearing about how I should stay away from the park food. Good tip. :)

Lots of very good food right outside the gates in Downtown Disney, worth the effort to leave the park to have a nice meal in a proper restaurant.

You guys are scaring me. Nikki and I have Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans reserved for our trip in 3 weeks. We also have a few breakfasts as well.

We heard bad reviews prior to this podcast about the Wine Country WOC dinner so we decided to book Ariel's Grotto and a picnic lunch for the 2 days that we are going to see it.

It is true that everyone has different palette.

You will be fine. It's not signature dining but both Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans have good food. We have had good meals at Riverbelle Terrace and Carnation Cafe too.

We've always enjoyed Cafe Olreans, Blue Bayou not so much.

I'm giving Wine Country Tratorria another chance this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.

Are you guys talking about Billy Hill and the Hillbillies? I've seen them twice, and they were hysterical. For real.

I don't think that was the act playing when we were there.

There was a female vocalist, and two male musicians who were not making any attempt at humor.

Also (in all fairness), they were having technical difficultites, that reduced the act by one member right after it started.

We were sitting at picnic tables and eating out of metal buckets.

I dont remember anything humorous going on. They were singing country songs.
