Getting ready for another ride down I-95 in a few weeks... just curious where the best places to eat are -- and I'm not talking about chains.

We can all find Cracker Barrel, Awful House and the Golden Arches easily enough... but what are some of the slightly hidden gems or lesser-known places you like to visit for a good meal?

I enjoy the GA Pig in Brunswick, GA and Prince Georges BBQ in Disputanta, VA.

Any other favorites you want to share?

There are a lot of non chain places in Wilson, NC but they are a god 7 miles or more from 95:

Bill's BBQ
Parker's BBQ
Carolina Cheese Company
Beefmaster
Rocky's

just to name a few....
