Hysterectomy- what should I expect

I'm glad I found this thread when searching through. OP - how did everything end up going with your recovery? I hope all is well.
I'm scheduled for a full laproscopic hysterectomy but not until Dec. 16 (just found out date today). It's been helpful to read everyone's responses. I went thru laproscopic appendectomy just last Dec. 23 so I'm familiar with the healing process of this type of procedure but still a little nervous about it all.

My recovery was quite easy. I admit I was a bit more uncomfortable than I had prepared for but nothing that tylenol didn't help. My discomfort was mostly with the bloat and gas. I just took it easy and was back to work after 9 days. Good luck.
