Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

I am thinking of staying at this resort for our next vacation. Has anyone stayed there that can give me information about the rooms, restuarants, transportation, comparisons to the Deluxe resorts at WDW and where to find a good discount rate. I have been to their web-site and it looks amazing. Any info would be appreciated!!

I was there about 11 years ago, because my brother-in-law worked there. It was absolutely wonderful as I recall. Pricey and wonderful! I can't really give you any more information than that. It's something to consider for sure.

First of all the location is good, just 2 right turns and your in downtown disney. The rooms are standard Hyatt rooms meaning they are well appointed, with rattan furniture ect... about as big as the Beach Club or Boardwalk rooms. The pool is great with plenty of water falls and little islands to swim around. The resturants and bars are nice but comparativly expensive. There is a kids club that we used so we could eat alone and our kids didnt want to leave. The lobby has expensive art work all around and it is a beautiful hotel. Service is what you'd expect from a Hyatt. Overall a great place just as nice as anything disney has to offer, but doesnt have the theming or magic of a disney hotel. My wife loves it there but I make her stay at a new place everytime we go......TAZ
