Hyatt Hotel in MCO

Last year we were lucky enough to get the Hyatt Hotel on Hotwire. I have been checking and it still is not listed. We have been told it is the only 4.5 on the trip adviser. Anybody have any idea when they may start to show up? We are flying into MCO on December 4th at about 10:30 at night, and would most like to stay there...leaving for the Disney cruise next morning.

I don't guess there is any guarentee it will show up on Hotwire or Priceline for your date, but I know on Priceline when the Hyatt at MCO does show up it is almost always within 2 weeks of the check in date....I think they hold off on releasing inventory to Priceline and probably hotwire as well until pretty close to check in. BTW it is only listed as a 3.5 star property on Priceline...I thought it was a 4* on Hotwire but I could be wrong about that.

There is not a way to tell if it is available on Priceline. If someone else reports that they have won the HYatt MCO for your dates, or possibly around your dates, that may give you an indication that it may be available through Priceline. There are at least 3 other 3.5* hotels which have been won on Priceline (Crowne Plaza, Marriott Orlando Airport and Sheraton Suites) in that zone, so if you bid on Priceline you could get any of these hotels as well as the Hyatt MCO. Hotwire is the better way to specifically target the HYatt MCO; but even with Hotwire, the Renaissance can show up on Hotwire with the same star level of 4* with the same amenity combination. Betterbidding.com can sometimes help you make the distinction between these two hotels, usually by the tripadvisor rating of the hotel that is listed on the Hotwire listing.
