Is Hilton Head the only DVC that has been seriously impacted by a hurricane in the past? Any other history out there of it?

DVC VB was hit, someone else will chime in with the year.
All the WDW DVCs were impacted by Hurricanes Charles, Francis, and Jean in '04.
TS Fay dumped 22" of rain on Fla back in '05, hit FL in four different locations, and sat in the Atlantic for four days just soaking the area.

I didn't even think about Vero Beach as a possibility. I know Hilton Head owners had "extra" amount added to their dues with Matthew, but I still can't figure out if that "extra" amount will be a permanent uptick or if it will eventually come off as the debt is paid off.

So the amount that was added, what ever that was, will eventually drop off?
It's a loan, so yes it will go away once it's paid off. This is actually the 2nd time that DVD has provided a loan to the HHI COA.

What amount to the dues was added?
From the linked article:
The total charge billed to 2017 dues for repayment of this loan is $.1133 per point or $155,126 total.

Aulani can be affected by hurricanes. It was a near miss on Oahu last year when the Big Island got damage. And three years ago the north side of Oahu and was affected by a hurricane. To date Aulani has not been damaged by a hurricane.
