Traveling on Saturday. Thanks

I was just coming on to check the same thing. Damn it - we have been planning this trip since DS was 3 weeks old :(

Im arriving on Sat and the weather channel said it should mainly affect Southwest Fl. Let's all cross fiingers & pray that it doesn't ruin our weekends!!!

I guess that we should know more by Thursday. We had a Storybook Breakfast booked at Epcot for Sunday. I hate the thought of my 4 yr old dd wearing her Belle costume in the rain.
Looking on the bright side, it will be less crowded! Buying rain ponchos!!! :sunny:

we fly on friday.... looking for rain ponchos and stroller covers! crossing my fingers so it doesn't get stronger!

Yes. Hurricane Wilma will be affecting all of FL this weekend. A little South of Central FL (latest info) is where Wilma is to hit Sunday AM. All of FL will get rain and wind. And don't forget, Rita did a last minute turn--that line is a best guess, but all the shaded area is fair game to hit. My advice is to watch the National Hurricane Website, sorry that I can't seem to find the link right now--will edit it in later if I remember (you can google it though), it is updated every 6 hours.

The hurricane has slowed down a lot and will probably not arrive in FL until Monday, so you should not change your plans. =) It's also now a Category 2, I believe.

Hi! now it is a cat 3, it's already hit Florida and moving to Miami. We are at All Star Movies. They asked us to stay in the room, they closed the parks today and told us they will open Magic Kingdom and Epcot for Disney Resorts guests after the rain is done, tomorrow everything will be open as usual. The rain and winds have been kind of heavy since last night. The palm tree in front of our room broke sometime this morning. Food curt is working but with limited menu.
