They told us prior to Wilma that Disney has never lost power due to a storm. Not sure if than means general loss or even an isolated loss.

Also, it looked like the power companies used one of the Disney lots as a staging area for line equipment. Not that Disney would use them, but nice to see.
 
:eek: We were there for I think it was hurricane Fran did some damage to trees and the front of pop century knocked down the 1970's sign, and the wind was horrible made the door moooo and in front of the window the floor got wet and they closed all the parks. So my advice is go in December but pack for a little chilly weather one year we went in december and had to go to walmart to buy gloves and long pants didn't bring any!! :(
We went in November too and it depends on mother nature we had 80 degree weather ya never know. Now I go in May for my bd :banana: :woohoo: :woohoo: party: :bday: ::MickeyMo :sulley: :tink: :donald: :mickeyjum :goofy: :tigger:
