We are leaving on Friday for a weekend at Disney. I have been watching Hurricane Jeanne. Hopefully, it will stay out in the Atlantic.

Nope - no stress here. Just think positive. See you there!

I did not start stressing over it until today. The path indicates that it may come to South Carolina on Sunday or Monday. I called CRO today to try to switch my dates for later in the month but nothing was available at the BC until November.

My main concern is that if I have property damange from Jeanne, I will not able to make the trip.

Yes, darn it, stressing here. I want her to just go away.

Yes, but only because we don't leave until Sunday, and that's about the time Jeanne is supposed to arrive--our plane lands around noon or so.

I'm not sure if I should be worried or not?!?!?! :(

I just watched the weather channel and they said that it could shift towards Florida but they're not sure if it will or not.

I tried looking on the internet but every web page has a different path.

I fly out on Monday and I'm a little worried that I wont have a flight to fly out on.

Has anyone heard anything else???

Thanks dopeys biggest fan

That Website seems to be more accurate and indepth than the ones I was using. It is, also, similar to what the National Hurricane center is saying. Hopefully it will not impact Florida too much!!

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well I wasn't worried. I didn't think she was going to be an issue. I could be wrong. We leave bright and early Wednesday morning. Meaning, if she stalls and takes just a bit longer she could interrupt our flight. Or is she brings the awful rain storms and flooding we got from Frances it could be just on time in our area to delay me leaving.

Oh well, I'm not going to stress. I'll just reschedule by a few days. Here's hoping everyone in it's path stays safe and damage free!!!

We were scheduled to fly down Sat. morning. Delta allowed us to change to a flight friday night. They still have the hurricane Ivan rules in effect, and will waive the fee for ticket chagnes. However, the flight you change to must be the same fare, or you will have to pay the difference. We have been watching the weather on the net. What are the local tv stations saying? We would love to hear something from Orlando residents.

Disney World is saying that they have no cancellation plans in effect. They have no indication that they will have to adopt the no show policy that they did earlier this month.

I watched the Orlando news at 11pm Wednesday night and they were concerned that Jeanne might change paths and impact Florida on Sunday. Of course, they don't know for sure yet--they just showed many different possible paths--several of which crossed Florida--but its a 'wait and see" for now. Keep your fingers crossed that Jeanne behaves herself and doesn't bother anyone.

The one certain thing about all of this is that they really don't where it's going!! Or even when.
I just saw a weather hurricane projection that had it hitting anywhere from Florida to Maryland!! From anytime Sunday thru Wednesday!!
As always, we'll all just have to wait and see---

OMG! DH & MIL leave early (3am) next Wed morn to drive down the east coast
Hoping it gets downgraded

I guess we're flying down Friday night as well, DH is on the phone with Delta. Hoping for the best.

Oh no, I am flying down Sat afternoon, I hope this will not effect my flight.

Just called Southwest to see if I could change to Sat & it would cost an extra $400. Not worth it. I'll just watch & see what happens. Hopefully Jeanne will take the best "model" & bring her away from the Florida coast.

I totally agree with that! Not only for my vacation, although I am a little selfish, but the people of FL have been through so much this hurricane season, I can't imagine how they must feel knowing another one might be coming.
