Hi. In case anyone was worried, I'm fine. We still don't have power or clean drinking water so we're at a friend's house, but I'm fine.

Glad you're okay. Do the kids in Virginia have school today? I have a sister that lives in Vienna, Virginia, and she told me the water situation is so bad they might not have school again today

Kteacher, I don't know about northern VA. but not in the Peninsula area of Virginia and not in Richmond.

There are still many areas without power and water.

I know King George & Colonial Beach were hit very hard and are still without!

Our school system closed for today, and I'm not sure why as we all have power, in fact, we never lost it for more than a few minutes. I guess some of the rural roads are still in bad shape.

from what I've heard Newport News got nailed by the storm.My friend's apartment still does not have power and they had to trash just about all the food they had in the fridge
