It reminded me of seeing Hurricane Hugo from the plane window, way back in 1989. That was a scary flight home!

Belle2003 - Hugo slammed into the city here in Charleston. The devastation was intense.

I am not a great fan of flying anyway but if I saw a hurricane from the air I would NOT be thrilled!

Big hugs to everyone in the path. It is headed here eventually but will be a much weaker storm by the time we get it.

That's a big one. Even though it'll be a lot weaker, we're all getting concerned here, since right now forecasts show Charley paying NH a visit on Sunday. The flooding is what worries us the most; not so much our road since we're pretty high up, but the basement as the water rushes down the side of the mountain we live on.
