Hungry Bear Restaurant and regular fries

Where is the closest place to order "regular" fries and not sweet potato ones if I'm eating at the Hungry Bear? My kids only like the reg. ones but we love to sit at the H.B. near the rivers of america.

The Golden Horseshoe and The Stage Door Cafe have regular fries. I think that may be closest to Hungry Bear.

Yeah me too! I understand they want to be more healthy but I dont see why they couldnt at least give people an option? Kind of why I dont go to the Tangoara restaurant at DLH all that much either!

We are also disappointed in the sweet pot. fries. We have tried this, where one person orders at hungry bear and the other runs like the wind to the stage door. But it's hard to time everything correctly so when you get back your burgers at hungry bear are still warm and by the time you get your fries back to hungry bear they are cold. It's a bummer!

Village Haus I think is the only other counter service with burgers. And regular fries. Oh and Tomorrowland Terrace, but I think that may be too far from HB.

Also just to share, The Golden Horseshoe and Stage Door Cafe don't have mozzarella sticks on their menu, but they do sell them and will gladly serve them to you if you ask. With fries!

This sweet potato fries really burns me too. When I stayed at the DLH we didn't eat at Tangora terrace for that reason. Also since I had Gastric bypass surgery I eat very little so buffets are out for me. I used to love eating at hungry bear. They also had vegan burgers for my daughters and son in laws.

If you still want to eat there, I highly recommend the zesty slow as a side instead of fries. It's not a regular coleslaw, as it has mangos and other sweet type veggies in it and the sauce is awesome. It's super refreshing on a hot day.

I thought the sweet pot. fries were alright, but I thought they were kind of small in comparison to the reg. fries portion. Golden Horseshoe has really amazing chili cheese fries and is not too far away that I highly recommend
