Has anyone been on the Humunga Kowabunga slide at Typhoon Lagoon? How painful is it?! Is there any way of minimising getting a wedgie with your bathing suit when you go down? Need advice lol. My friend went down this slide and she need to go to the bathroom, but we told her to wait til 15 mins because we were going to leave, the wedgie was so bad however, that it was too late by the time she reached the bottom of the slide!

I have been on it many times and I would have to say if you don't want a weggie don,t do it.

All my kids just did this and said that the wedgie was huge and their butts were sore so I would also have to agree that the only way to avoid a wedgie is to avoid the ride.

we just did this ride for the first time this year and we've renamed the ride: The Wedgienator!!

Every person in our group from age 6 - 43 had to pick their bathing suit before standing up!!!

they say crossing your legs helps avoid it but you are so freaked out as soon as you leaving the starting point that i don't know how to relax enough to concentrate on keeping them crossed cause you spending all your energy screaming!!

once was enough for most of the people in our group to go on this ride - it was pretty funny to watch though!!

Can anyone compare it to the big slide at blizzard beach? Which is worse? Higher?

Thanks, MKY princess:

i could never do summit plummit, far to scary! You get almost as good a view on the slusher gusher. Do guys when they wear shorts get the same wedgie problem or is exclusive to bathing suits?????

It was so funny, I road the ride with two gentlemen from England, when we got to the bottom I said wow what a Wedgie, they said what it a Wedgie and I explained and they laughed there head off as they never heard of that but they had the same problem. I would ride it every time as it was fun.

One wedgie from that water slide was enough for me!! I have NO intentions of ever going on that thing again!!! Well....maybe.....
