Huge explosions and fire in trucking building near Cleveland

Very scary! They've been breaking in with updates all morning.

MSNBC, CNN and Fox news have been reporting this morning. It is outside of Cleveland called Walton Hills. The fire is still burning but no injuries reported so far.

Yikes!!! That's just a couple of miles from our house. That's one F-2 tornado and two major fires since Sunday. Who would have thought it would be so dangerous to live in my part of town.

I hope that everyone is OK. I'll give DW Sue a call and see if she has any details.

This area is about 10 miles from my family. No one hurt but this is the same area hit by a tornado last Sunday!

When they say Cleveland, I think Downtown, not near where you live....

Tornado, I didn't know about that, we had one back when we lived in University Heights....

An F-2 tornado flattened a couple of houses about 5 blocks from our home on Sunday evening. Sue and I were in an airplane (coming home from Orlando) that was trying to land in Akron in the midst of that storm. We ended up having to land in and spend the night in Pittsburgh. No loss of life in the storms, but a lot of property damage to our town and the surrounding area. Solon middle school was so severely damaged that the 1300 students there are going to have to find another place for classes until the end of the year. I'm not sure if they meant the fiscal year or the school year.

No word from Sue on the fire in Walton Hills. I pray that everyone there is OK.
