The DH and I went in 2008 after his return from Iraq. It was a nice time going just the two of us. He wants to go for our anniversary next year....I think more for the candy at the Halloween party than for bonding time It is so pretty - I never saw Bugs Land then though. I cannot remember if we just missed it or it wasn't built yet. We missed Santa too!

Are you trying to get a candy cane while you are there?

I would love to get one, unfortunately....the only day they're doing it is the morning I come in & I won't make it to the parks until around 10:30/11am....I'm sure they'll be long gone by then.

This was our last day & the twins FINALLY warmed up to the characters. Shy was in LVE with Goofy......such a sweet moment!

Hard to believe that I just need to get thru the weekend, then on Monday we turn in the keys to the old place & Mike will drop me off at my oldest son's home. I'm staying with Nick & Marie Monday night so they can drive me to the airport early Tuesday morning. They live in the Portland area & made sense to do it this way, so we weren't leaving our home at 3-3:30am to get to the airport on time.

So the plan seems to be simple but each thing on it is important in getting to experience as much of the holiday goodness Disneyland can show me in a few days.

Tuesday morning, arrive at PPH & drop off bags (hopefully into the room) & head to park.

Hope to meet up with Janelle (and her co-worker) for lunch at Cafe Orleans.....must get those Gingerbread Beignets!!

VIP seating for the parade with Sherry & her friends.....must be there by 5pm at the latest.

Watch the castle lightening, fireworks & snow on Main Street.

Wednesday head to the parks.....no big plans until 3pm for the Holiday Tour. This will get me on the Haunted Mansion Holiday & IASW Holiday, as well as special seating for the parade (YAY, I love parades!!).

When this is over, run over to DCA to do the VIP seating for the World of Color show with Sherry & her friends. They are doing a special holiday pre-show with the Prep & Landing gang. Should be awesome!!

Thursday, check out from our room & have breakfast at Surf's Up with Mickey with Sherry, Molly & Liza. Say our goodbyes & then head to the park until around 3pm. Kinda hoping Michelle can join me on Thursday.....waiting to hear back from her!!

Today I'm doing laundry & packing my suitcase. Does anyone know if I take a tote bag/reuseable shopping bag as my carry on if I have to stow in the above head compartment or can it sit down under my seat??

Love the picture. I bet you could just put it under the seat in front of you. As long as it's secure and "closed". I can't believe we're at only TWO more sleeps!
