HS - tapping in at Little Mermaid Show ??

Where is the fastpass "tap in" for the Mermaid show located? (I can't remember) Is it easily accessible? Or do you have to head into the building first? Can you "tap in" and run away???

(The change in FP tiers at HS is making things more difficult...)

No idea about tapping in but definitely agree about the FP changes... it’s why we’re not visting HS our next trip.

We have tapped in and run away more than once. Not that we don't like the Little Mermaid show because we always go see it, just that we would rather do it standby and try to get a different FP+.

The tiers have always been a problem for us at DHS too (a constant fight/stress between TSM and RNRR-- and then SDD got thrown in the mix to really make it stressful and/or a battle), and now they are even worse. It is that way for us even though we only have one kid- so it is an argument between DH and DD, and occasionally I am in the mix too. We have 2 sets of friends who flat out cancelled their trips because they got sick of their kids fighting over what tier 1 FP to book. One said their last trip they thought the battle between the kids was over by a week or two after the booking of FP+ and before the trip, but when they got to DHS the ride that they didn't FP (as well as the one that they did) had a really long line all day and they couldn't pick up another FP for it, so they had a whiny kid all day that was still mad at their sibling. They said they aren't spending thousands of dollars to be extremely stressed out 60 days before the trip; have their kids fighting for weeks before the trip; and then to have a least one day of the trip where the kids continue to fight the whole day.
