HS - Sci-fi what are my odds

What are my odds of a walk up Wednesday October 23 to Sci fi between 3-4 pm

Fantasmic is showing that night at 7:30pm

Called dinning and there are no lunch or dinner spots open for anything that day

If you don't mind sitting at a table instead of a car you might have a good chance But keep checking for ADRs because you never know when something will open up.

It actually slows down between 3 and 4 so you may get in. I do agree that most likely it will be a table and not a car without an adr

I would keep checking online daily to see if someone cancels. While there might be a slowdown during that time, you still have to take into consideration the fact that it is fully booked and it might remain busy on that particular day.

Walk ups are usually seated at the picnic tables in back so if you want a car you should keep trying for a reservation.

When we went in May, we had checked in for a 1:30 reservation and they were not taking any walk ups. Then again, you are going on a Wed at 3 and not during Star Wars week, so I'd say your chances are good.

We always do a walk up at SciFi on every trip....(3-4pm is the best time to go)....and we've always been seated in a car, not a table.

BUT keep in mind, its always just the two of us. Its so much easier to seat 2 ppl rather than 3 or more. it all depends on how many ppl are in your party. How many of you are there?

May I just suggest you go online at Disney reservations on weekends and keep checking Sci Fi every now and then close, especially close to your departure date. There seems to be a lot of action with reservations at the time. A few weeks before my trip which I just came back from, I realized that I booked the coveted California Grill on the wrong night. I was horrified. I called immediately and found that they had a 5:30. I took it but wanting to see the fireworks, this didn't sit well with me! So the following Saturday I checked now and then (kept the page open and just hit check availability). I ended up changing 3 times, each time something popped up a little closer to my time (and then was promptly gone) Sunday morning, right before church I did it one last time, not satisfied with 7:15 and sure enough, a 7:20 which was my original time, popped up. I grabbed it. POint is, people do a lot of changing on weekends so don't give up hope. I would try to secure a seat rather than leave it to chance. Good luck.

Agree with goofyintoronto that if you're a party of 1 or 2 you'll have a better chance of walking up and being seated in a car because you'll be the "hitchhikers" in the third row of a car behind another family.
