HS - no park reservations available?

I'm not sure why I can't get a park pass at HS for the day I want. I've checked and they're available for AP holders but not hotel guests. I have both so does the hotel stay over-ride the AP for eligibility? Is there a way around it? It's May 30th I'm looking at.

This. I’m going the same week and was able to get one for 6/3 by calling the Passholder line.

Customer Service was not able to help me. I just went in to the reservation system, selected the people in my group, and chose Hollywood Studios. It will tell you there are no reservations, but keep going back to the park choice page and keep trying. I found an opening for the day I wanted after trying for 20-30min (for our party of 5!). Openings do occur, but they will not be reflected on the calendar. You need to actually go in to a reservation and keep trying. Make sure you do not have any other park scheduled for that day. Epcot rarely sells out so keep that as your backup plan for that day. You can always reserve Epcot if you give up on HWS. Good luck!

OP has a different situation than yours. There is a quirky known issue for AP holders who are staying on property where if there is no listed availability for a park for resort guests, even if there is AP availability for it, the website won’t let us book it even though we are APs and thus have entitlement to pull from that bucket. It’s because if you count as 2 buckets the resort guest bucket always trumps the AP one for technical reasons. Calling the Passholder line solves it though because those CMs can override it.

That is why I added some clarification after the fact Just in case the OP’s situation was different. The reservation system can be finicky!
