HS Morning Plan with Genie

Hi first time posting!

We are headed to disney in June, and it's our first time using Genie (last trip was june 2021.) For HS, the current plan is to rope drop MMRR, and grab genie for SDD and ILL for ROTR. Does anyone have experience with this? What was your morning strategy at HS?

We were there the first week of March and were staying on site. After a couple days of trying for ROTR, we finally got a $LL. The problem with rope drop is you don't know when it is. When we were there the park opened at 9:00, a theoretic opening of 8:30 for Disney Hotel guest. I asked a cast member in the park what time they were letting people in. You see the Disney Pirate Code is really just guidelines. The cast member said they started letting guest in a 7:45 and rides running at 8:15. So much for planning.

Wow! That would make it hard to plan! So I guess it would be wise to plan to be there at 7:00, just in case.
