HS Moonlight Magic

Had 4987 (lowest of three devices). Did not get in.

Since it filled up today do they not release tickets for those that do not have reservations?

I had 5670 and 7450 start numbers. Didn't get in. Looks like it made it to around 4350 as I was around 1320 when the line stopped, right at 11:30am eastern

Woohoo !! Made it. I had 8 devices going
1. 6986
2.5800 something
3. 6400 something
4. 4986
5. 1600 something
6. 4000
7. 1200
8. 4000 something.
I paid attention to the ones in the 1 thousands. I got in with the 1200. I am so excited. Soon as I got in I closed all others

There may be some available, but it will be very limited.
In the past (2+ years out - I haven't been recently) they released roughly equal amount of tickets each for early and regular registration.

If 4300 got in and had 4-5 guests that’s 20k in so far
I don’t know what the capacity is though?

It is maximum of 5 or more if on your reservation. We have a 2 bedroom with 7 people and that is what I was allowed to register.

Nope. General registration typically fills up in seconds.
We got in last year and we were around 600 in line to start. It wasn’t seconds by far but it definitely was 15 minutes or so.

I logged in at 8: 30 and when it opened up, I got number 230. All booked for 9 people. Staying at the Treehouses.

Started at 4376, just finished registration.
Got in with my lowest number in the queue in the 800's. Have a grand villa reserved at OKW and a cabin at Ft. Wilderness and was able to get 12 tickets for everyone. Can't wait!

I know there's been threads regarding numbers of guests. I have 3 reservations booked under my member number. 1 for us 3, another for my mil/fil and then the 3rd for bil/sil. I booked for 7 and it let me which is what I was told would be ok by MS. I know others had asked this.

Thanks for updating that. It does allow for all rooms booked on your membership!

first time trying ti reguster, any chance of general booking success?
We got it last fall. We ran out of points and rented from another member so we couldn’t register during the resort guest registration. We got it during general. This one today lasted about a half hour. The general was half that. Pretty sure it was full in 15 minutes

Some people register max, some the min and some in the middle. Presume most lodging is 5 or less guests (1br & studio)

Average of 5 guest per 4300 that's 21,500
Average of 6 guest per 4300 that's 25,800

I also wonder when some people had multiple windows open like me does that count as some who "booked" if number 4300 got in, but I had 4 numbers from my original 428 through 4200 and closed them out does that mean less than 4300 actual people booked?

Great point, there are people in que with doubles and triple devices the drop out.

If Park Capacity: 60,000 (referenced here, here, here) and Moonlight Magic is 1/2 capacity - that would be 30,000 tix.

If we assume ~20k from above (5 guest per 4,000 = 20,000)) - Rough estimate - understanding some are more than 5 guests, some are less than 5 guests and some of the 4,300 are duplicates in the queue.

That leaves about 10,000 tickets. I wonder if some are reserved for VIP's or some other pre-registry.
