We have breakfast reservations for Play n Dine on our Hollywood Studio day. Is it Disney Jr overload if we do both this character breakfast and see the Disney Jr Live on Stage show? Our kids 4 and 7 love Disney Jr, especially Sofia the First but I am wondering if they will get their fill at the Play n Dine breakfast??

We often do both as well and I don't find us to be on DisJr overload when combining the two. The breakfast is cute, lots of sing-a-longs and dancing for the little ones, and the Live on Stage show doesn't involve live characters, so they're similar but not exact replicas of each other.

We're doing both. I just scheduled the stage show for later in the day after we've done some rides and met some other characters. My 3yo is obsessed with them too, so I'm sure he'll love seeing his "friends" again later in the day.

We've done both in the same day, and I really found them each to be different experiences. My DS (3) loved both!

Not an overload, two different experiences. We did both on our last trip, 6/1. Also, we did the M&G with Jake & Sofia (right outside of DJL). Separate lines, no FP+, but loved the special background & PhotoPass photographer of the M&G. H&V will probably have other people in background of your photos, & only place to meet Doc McStuffins.

We saw the show and then walked over for our lunch reservation. It was great. The kids were really excited at the show and then the excitement escalated when they got to lunch.

It may be overload for the grownups, but it won't be overload for the kids. ;)

They are totally different experiences. The adults in our group aren't big fans of the Disney Jr. show, in fact I think that one of DH's happiest moments at Disney is the trip I told him I wouldn't make him sit through Disney Jr. with us again and he could go ride TOT instead. DD absolutely loved it when she was little though. It has puppet characters instead of the "real" characters and everyone sits on the floor.

We always do both, definitely different experiences. If you were only going to do one, I would actually recommend the show. But if they like Disney Jr, they won't be sad to do both!

I'm doing both as well. We used to skip DHS because there weren't much for the little ones. I'm happy to do an overload of Disney Jr now. The character dining basically cover all the ground. I'm glad we don't have to wait 40 mins to meet Princess Sofia this year. LOL

Totally not overload! We did this last trip and are doing it again (but lunch this time). My kids LOVED seeing Jake twice! Definitely a must do!

I don't think so, especially if your kids are really into them. My daughter didn't seem to mind. My husband hated Disney, Jr. Live though. I think it was mostly having to sit on the floor, but he also didn't know it was just going to be puppets, he thought it was going to be the real life-sized characters like at breakfast.

For mommy yes if was overload, but of course the little one loved both ; )
