We have an ADR for the Star Wars Galactic Breakfast on Wednesday 5/6 at 9:30 AM. Hollywood Studio's posted opening time is 9 AM that day. Is it worth arriving early (ie. by 8:30) to get into the park when it opens? Will we have time to do anything before we have to check in?

We'll actually be at HS the night before with a dinner ADR at 50's Primetime and we're hoping to see Fantasmic that night. So when I was able to get that breakfast ADR, I chose a time that would allow us to "sleep in" (as much as my son will allow) a bit. But in case he actually gets up early, we head over early to do SOMETHING if possible before our meal.

We're only planning to stay at HS until about 1 PM and then have plans in MK in the late afternoon (7DMT FP) and evening (staying through MSEP).

If the soft opening thing still occurs (where they let guests through the turnstiles before 9 so they are in the park at 9), you *may* be able to squeak in a standby ride on RNR, TOT or Star Tours. I think Star Tours would be the best chance for minimal wait while allowing you to get to your ADR on time.

Keep in mind they do advise arriving 10-15 before your ADR and that arriving on time or just a few minutes late can delay seating. So it may be just worth it to spend time getting oriented while heading straight to H&V for your ADR.

Thanks for your feedback. Based upon your reply, I think we'll just check in 15 minutes early and that will be that. No rushing that morning, which will be nice. :)
