Seahag-Lucky you. I so wish we were going back! We had an incredible time on that trip. It was such a fun family vacation. Hope you have a great time too.

KimCon-Thanks for the compliments re my kids. I think they are pretty cute too but then I am their mom so I'm biased!

robvia & JessicaR: You're welcome, and JessicaR - I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. It is so easy to walk from the hotel over to the parks and Citywalk, a major plus especially with small kids like mine. Next time we go I'm going to plan a day just to hang out at the hotel and pool, it was such a fun place. Have a great trip!

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments, it's very kind. I hope you all have wonderful times when you get there and check back, I will soon have a few interior room pictures although they really don't do the place justice! nhrenee- yes like you I'm usually the one taking the pictures! I'm in one on my site now but most often you'll see my kids, especially my son (he always jumps in there). He did love the pool, well we all did, there's even a little kids pool the baby could splash in.

We rearranged the furniture so that big comfy chair (everyone wanted that chair) looked toward the pool. In the morning I'd wake up to see my DS sitting there gazing down and as soon as we got up he wanted to get back out there.

I just wanted to agree with everyone in saying your pictures are wonderful and your family beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

I was wondering if you remembered the room # you were in for the Hard Rock as well as Animal Kingdom? (I checked all your pictures!) Those were terrific views! I am going in January and would love to stay in the room you were in, or one right next to it.

IOAFanatic24 - Thanks so much. I believe the room # at HRH was 6120. Sixth floor, a regular size pool view room with two queen beds. At AKL it was 2421, the very last in the first "block" on Zebra Trail. I think the rooms in the second block would have similar views. I don't think I'd go any further left than we were toward Arusha Rock, it looked to me like those first rooms might have more view obstructions but then I guess we'd have to ask someone who stayed in those rooms. It's hard to tell. Anway our AKL room was a queen bed with a set of bunk beds, non-smoking, no connecting door. Hope this helps.

The AKL room controller is going to wonder why all the sudden interest in these particular rooms-I've had several people ask me.

hercamore- The pictures were taken with a digital camera, Kodak DC4800 Zoom. We bought it right before our trip and we're digital newbies so I guess it says something for the ease of using this camera as our pictures turned out pretty well. It certainly wasn't because of us!
