HRH Early Check in Question

On the last night of our trip I would like to stay at HRH, but I want to go to US/IOA the day I check in. Will they give you a key before your room is ready so you can use it at the park for Express priveleges? If so how early can I do this? We will be leaving early the next day to drive home so I can not take advantage of it on the day I leave. Thanks

You can get your magic keys early in the morning, it's no problem.
We drove up, arrived at 8am, did the pre-checkin, got our room keys, and headed to the parks.
Don't expect your room to be ready until 4pm unless you get lucky.

Too bad you can't stay the next day for a few hours and visit the parks. Your key works on that day too.

not sure how early, but yes, they will hold your bags and check you in, give you your room key and a card w/a phone # you can call to check on the status of your room.

I have checked in at HRH as early as 7:20 AM. Got my three keys and off to the parks for a character breakfast at Confisco's. With the HRH key, we were given the next table, even though there was a 20-30 minute wait.

Did you have to have all three of you there to get the 3 room keys? Or did you do your pre-check in by yourself?

I have checked in by myself before. DH is usually of exploring with our 3 DS. They will not issue you more keys then your room capacity (5 Queen and 3 King). I always have 5 listed on our reservation.

We usually check in around 8 am and hit the club for coffee and donuts before we go to the park.

We had arrived in Orlando late the previous day and stayed across the street at Comfort Inn. DH and DS were still snoozing, but I could not wait! When I was ready, I headed to the HRH and checked us in and got keys for all three of us. I went back to the Comfort Inn and they were still in bed . I got them up and we were on our way. I don't think our room was ready until 3-4 PM, however. We had DS swimsuit handy and when we wanted to leave the parks for a while, we hung out by the pool (and Beach Club!) until our favorite room was ready.
