HRH club level worth $$ at holiday rack rate?

We plan on going down to HRH next year over Xmas. I am assuming that there will be no discounts at that time. We plan to arrive December 23 and stay through the 28, then head over to WDW. In addition to Xmas eve and Xmas day, my son will turn 14 during our stay at HRH. because of these special occasions, I thought it might be worth the splurge to go with the club level. I have stayed concierge at WDW at the Poly and AKL, but not at a Universal hotel. Is it worth the extra $$?

My Mother got HRH Club Level at $214 per night for 4 nights beginning on 12/22/02 on Dollar Rental Car Travel Site. They had a promotion for stay 3 nights get the 4th free. Travelocity had the same promo but was sold out when my mother wanted to book 1 week prior to arrival. Dollar's site had availability, so Mom booked with them. She had a great time and thought club level was definately worth it for her. Concierge at club level was very helpful, friendly, and bent over backwards with any request my mother had. Others may disagree, but I guess it's different for everyone.
