HRH All Access Card Q

Hi.
About to book the HRH Orlando for January. Trying to do some research on the Hard Rock All Access Card. Trying to figure out if it is worth it to purchase. We will be staying for 6 nights.

Has anyone used it recently? Did you actually get a room upgrade with it upon check in?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi we used the All Access Card in August. We didnt get an upgrade as we were staying Club anyway. We did get a late checkout though which was 1 o/c rather than the usual 11 o/c. Useful for us as we had an evening flight and it gave us a leisurely morning at the parks.

Also you buy iit for $25 and they credit it with $20 immediately to spend at the hotel or Cafe so net cost is only $5 - not bad and you got a bag and limited edition pin for that. My view would be its worth getting psrticularly if you might qualify for an upgrade.

I was wondering if I book a Pool View 2 queen room with the APH discount, will I still be eligible for the upgrade to the next category, the 2 queen deluxe rooom? Or will I lose the All Access upgrade since I am getting a room discount?

All Access is a different program.
you can get the free room upgrade with the All Access card.
you need to book the standard room and get the free upgrade to pool view room.

if they have plenty of available rooms at the hotel when you check in, it would be up to the check in clerk to determine if you can have another type of upgraded room.

true about using this card at HRC.
you are the next one seated when you show your all access card.
no long wait in lines or on long lists to get a table.

i bought the All Access card many years ago when it first came out.
it was definitely worth it for me.
it is valid for all HRC.

i made my request for the free upgrade at the time of booking.
that way i had the room blocked off for my stay.

if you wait until you check in and try to get the free upgrade, it will depend on if the hotel has the rooms available.
meaning, not already booked prior.

you can call and talk the the reservationist and see if it is possible to get the free upgrade at this point.

wouldn't hurt to try.....


if you booked a standard room, the upgrade would be a pool/waterview.

no.

upgrades do not apply to club.
only the standard room to pool/water view

Hmm... now this is where it gets confusing. Why do some people pay $25 for the All Access card and some get it for free?

I checked into the HRH last week and was told about the All Access card at the front desk. She handed me the card (no charge), I was upgraded to a pool view room from standard, given free wifi in room, and a late check-out.

So why would you pay for the same thing?

i bought my all access card many years back.
this was before you could get the all access card at the hotels.


i did it thru the HRC website.


i received the hrcafe backpack, 2 hrc pins, $20 loaded on my card, the all access card and something else i am forgetting.

each time i use my hrc card at the cafe, i get credit on my card.
(i am a pin collector for hr pins and items.)

i show it each time i make a purchase.

so for the $25, i received a lot.
the value of it all, exceeded the $25 i spent.


the all access card you recieve at the hotel, does not include all of the above.

and as you are aware, you do get a perk of a free upgrade when available at the hrh.

the other perks that can be included for the hrh, depends on the occupancy level of the hotel at the time you are there.
such as, late check out.
