1st trip to US and I must confess that I don't really know anything about Harry Potter other than it is a series of books HUGE success...

I do plan on watching the movies with my DS before our surprise trip in March :goodvibes

My question is due we really have to wait in line that long before entering this world?? We are going the 2nd week in March. Staying off site. I assume that you all recommend going first thing in the am, but at what time? at the opening or before??

I have been a few times to WDW over the past few year (mostly in Jan) and we never had to wait more than 15min for anything. I am starting to be worried that we are going to spend half this trip in line :scared1:

If IOA is really busy and lots of people are trying to get into WWoHP, unfortunately the line to get into WWoHP is unavoidable. If it's a slower day, you probably wouldn't have to wait to get into WWoHP. I would suggest getting to the parks 45 mins to one hour prior to opening so you can stake your spot in line. It's all going to depend on the crowds the day you're going. It's too up in the air to guess how they will be.
