my search is not working. I am thinking of getting the hp touchpad from best buy for 150. Is it worth it or should I just save my money and go it apple. I would only be using it to check email, going on this forum, playing a few games.

the $150 price is long gone on the touchpad...they are going on ebay for >$200 for the 16gb [which were $99 on the sale price] and >$250 for the 32gb which were the $150 price.

There is a bundle at Best Buy if you buy an HP laptop you get it for $150 [32gb] but that might be gone now too.

Tiger Direct has a really bad bundle for $280 today also [includes the 32gb].

What's bad about the Tiger Direct deal, I got the email for that as well. The Best Buy is still good, it's a $150 tablet w/computer purchase.
Tiger Direct sold out, I couldn't even click on the buy now button!

I missed out on the $99 deal in August and I ended up winning one on ebay still in the original box sent to the seller by HP . . .I won it for $185 with free shipping . . .giving it to my DS who is a freshman in college as a "surprise" Christmas gift . . .hopefully, he'll enjoy it . . .

I think the BB deal for $150 is good if you also needed the computer.

people seem to like the $479 i5 so if you're in the market for a laptop, getting the hard to find and cool touchpad is a bonus. If you're not in the market, you can try to sell the laptop on craigslist I suppose.

the tiger direct is a bunch of lame accessories that aren't worth the price IMHO. The previous bundle deals were better and were only $200! But obviously they still bought 'em up!
