HP only - where to start?

One day just doing HP sections of the parks-

Start at Diagon Alley with Gringotts. Then I'd do Ollivanders and go to the Hogwarts Express. Once I was at Hogsmeade, I'd get in line for FJ. Afterwards, I'd explore the shops a bit, get some food at Three Broomsticks. Explore a bit more, catching the two shows if possible. Then I'd ride Dueling Dragons and Hippogriff (if you have kids). Then if the line didn't look too long, I might to FJ again (It's by favorite). Then get a butter beer and catch the train back to London. Explore Diagon Alley (lots to see there), catch the two shows, dine at Leaky Caldron for dinner and have ice cream at the ice cream parlor for dessert. Stick around for darkness (this area is great in the dark, esp Knockturn Alley and the dragon's fire. Then I'd do Gringotts again. Single rider if the line is long.

I'd start with realizing that you have to walk through the parks to get to the WW areas, and it might tempt you. We thought in 2010 that we were going for WW. Haha, we were so wrong. :)

Don't need any plan as such.

Start at DA then go to IOA.

But I agree with pp........both parks are so impressive you may get sidelined...........

no reservations for LC and 3 B's.

those on a package with the breakfast are the only ones that can make reservations.

i have never had an issue being a walkup for the parry hotter eateries.

There is a lot of other awesome things to experience at Universal. If you bought the park to park tickets then I would totally explore the rest of what Universal has to offer. There are so many "must sees"!
