HP Muggles In Waiting Thread!

Three lockets:

The one found in Grimmauld place.

The dummy Horcrux that Dumbledore and Harry found in the lair.

The real Horcrux that R.A.B. got. R.A.B. destroyed it, I believe. I have to reread the note found in the dummy Horcrux.

There's a theory that R.A.B. is Sirius' deceased brother. If so, then he would have lived in Sirius' house and possibly taken the locket back, as a safe spot. On page 116 of OotP, Ch. 6, US Edition (Hardback) it says "...also a heavy locket that none of them could open..." This is believed to be the real Horcrux, as well as the one R.A.B. took.

Did that make sense?

Hey! I love Harry Potter...I read the first book before it was popular and J.K. Rowling came to my hometown and did a reading and book signing it was amazing. I really hope that she does not kill off Harry, Ron, Hermione, or Hagrid because I think I might cry. I have been reading these books for so long I don't know what I am going to do when they are gone

You are lucky to have met Rowling! I am a big fan too and am sad that I only have one new one left to read! I do think that Hagrid may not survive.

Yeah I don't think hagrid will survive either. Because of what she said at An Evening with Harry, Carrie, and Garp.

While Jo is listing the characters who she'd invite to dinner, she names the trio but then pauses. The crowd begins to shout out other characters, but Jo responds, "I'm the only one who knows who lives through the series," accidentally implying that she could only list characters who make it through the final book. Her final two choices (after realizing what she said) were Dumbledore and Hagrid.

So I'm figuring that Hagrid dies.

Oh and I'm also new to this thread. So Hi, everyone. I love harry potter so much. And if you don't you should listen to Mugglecast, it's a harry potter podcast made by teenagers. It's wicked awesome.

I must not read very thoroughly because I don't remember then even getting a locket at Grimmauld Place or finding a note. I barely even remember the mentioning of RAB.

I need to re-read the series.

Hagrid's probably going to die. I hope HP takes Herm, and Ron wherever he goes. I really like those characters and wouldn't want the whole book to only have parts of them in it.

I hope there aren't too many fight scenes I really don't like those parts.

*Will Ron and Hermione finally admit they like each other


What would be the craziest thing that could happen? (I don't think it could actually happen but it would be funny if......

*The Giant Squid saved everyone and killed Voldemort.

I think Percy's a rat, and will stay a rat. Watch, I'll be proven wrong in like page five. I definitely think Voldemort will use Ginny against Harry, but whether he gets the results he wants or not is another story.

I think it'd be a great twist if Harry was a Horcrux, but I'm not sure if he would be. An involuntary Horcrux, maybe. But why would Voldemort continually try to destroy one of his own Horcruxes?

I don't know if Harry and Sirius will interact again, but I sure hope they do! And I definitely think that Ron and Hermione will happen, sooner or later.

I think it'd be sooo funny if the Giant Squid came out of nowhere and saved everybody!

And Vannah, I think you're absolutely right. I think the real Horcrux that was in the cave and the locket in Grimmauld Place are one and the same, and that R.A.B. is Regulus Black. Sorry I didn't answer earlier.
