Are there any plans anywhere that we can see of the HP expansion on the Uni side?

So from everything I've read, there's going to be exactly two new rides - the Hogwarts Express, and the Gringotts bank ride. Presumably the Hogwarts Express won't be a thrill ride at all (unless they stop the train and have dementors invade your carriage like the scene in Prisoner of Azkaban), and from what I've read Gringotts will be milder than Forbidden Journey, so they don't have to ban small kids from it.

Is anyone else a little disappointed? It sounds like 90% of it will be shops to help separate you from your souvenir budget. I was hoping for at least a two or three new thrill rides.

Hogwarts express will probably have that (and multiple variants). Gringotts may be milder than forbidden journey, but will also probably the most advanced ride on the planet. Considering both are really going to be first of its kind rides and they are "sparing no expense", I don't think I'd call it disappointing. In fact it's more I have no idea what to expect, and that's forgetting the new olivanders and some of the effect walk throughs in the area and other unannounced things.

Thank you, it sounds like it's going to be really great!

Like atricks said, the Hogwarts Express is supposed to be quite the ride. It is supposed to be an e-ticket with a ton of special effects. Gringotts is supposed to be pretty interesting too with a drop element, a dragon and several other new thrill ride experiences. Not sure what the height limit will be, but perhaps 40" like Space Mountain in Disneyland?

There is supposed to be a walk through attraction (perhaps Borgin and Burkes), the Weasley Wizard Wheezes store, more Ollivanders, the Leaky Cauldron, Madame Malkins' candy store, Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour and some other performances. That sounds like a normal amount of stuff for a new land.

Oh and also, there is supposed to be an interactive magicquest wand thing where you can made certain effects happen throughout the land. Considering all that was there before was Jaws, it sounds pretty good!

All right, I take it back. I guess I'm still just grumpy that Jaws is gone.

That would officially make it the best ride ever in the history of amusement parks. Maybe JKR is a Jaws fan too?

My kids love MagiQuest and have done these interactive games in a few locations. They also lived the Kim Possible adventure at WDW. It's so great that they are bringing something like this to the HP experience. Adding to the appeal, for fans it will be a thrill to actually leave behind their muggle ways and do some magic of their own. ;)

Me too..Though I am happy about the expansion..You should have seen the look on this one familys' face this past week when they asked a Universal TM where JAWS was..they looked like someone killed their dog...I felt so bad for them.
