How's the week before Thanksgiving?

We were planning on going the week before Halloween, but a wedding has popped up. I checked the best days site and the first two weeks of November seem really busy, don't know why, maybe Jersey week stuff. But the week before Thanksgiving goes down to October levels (5). Has anyone gone the week before Thanksgiving? I know Thanksgiving week can be crazy. I'm hoping the week before has short lines. Any thoughts?

We were at WDW that exact week this past Nov. and we thought it was a great week to be there. We arrived on Vetern's weekend which was also super soap weekend and the end of Jersey week. We thought the crowds were terrible but there was a huge drop in crowd size once that weekend was over and we enjoyed the whole rest of the week!

We are even thinking of going back that same time frame this year.

We went the week that includes Thanksgiving and the week after Thanksgiving in 2001. That first week was super busy. Huge lines everywhere. The week after Thanksgiving was wonderful. Many rides were walk on.
