how's the rain?

Hi
We leave for Disney on July 16th. According to weather.com it looks like rain everyday. But is this like the rain that comes daily around late afternoon and stays for only an hour, that is what we have experienced in the past. OR has it been raining for the whole day? Any one that is there or just back, please fill me in. I won't let rain ruin our days, but would like to plan accordingly. Thanks.

Just got back. Rain was the 1 hr in the afternoon variety.

We were there in June and the rain was torrential at times. The interesting thing about the rain was that it was warm! We don't get that kind of precipitation here in Boise.

Well-don't put too much stock in a weather forecast that tells you what the weather will be like a week or more away. You'll get just as accurate results if you flip a coin. They've been predicting thunderstorms around my way for the past 3 days--and it hasn't rained a drop.
As other posters have said, IF it rains at all, it most likely will be the thunderstorm variety, which comes --and then it goes.

I've been here at WDW since 7/2 and in total I would say we've had maybe 2-3 hrs. of rain in 8 days.

Weather is beautiful, sunny and in the low 90's!

Thanks everybody. We have been to Disney before but in other months. That is how the rain was then. About 3:00 the rain rolled in and was gone in 30-60 minutes, just enough time for an indoor show. I can't wait, seven days to go.
