How's the pizza at Toy Story?

I have a son who loves pizza and Toy Story, however I had pizza at the Mara a couple of years ago and the crust was very thick with very little topping. I figured pizza just isn't Disney's strong point. Just wondering if the pizza is any good at Toy Story Planet Pizza.

This is one of those places where you will need to try it for yourself because you will get responses going both ways. That said, we absolutely LOVE pizza at Toy Story PP. It's a must for every trip. The crust is pretty thick but there is no shortage of toppings. They come as cheese only, pepperoni or garden. They are all good.

We gave it a try last week and hated it. Of course, we're spoiled by great pizza in Chicago so that may be why but we'll never eat there again. YMMV

We liked their pizza. It was a very generous amount of food.

I work for a national pizza magazine so I'm a little biased, but with that said I thought it was decent and it filled a hole*. DD loved the atmosphere and it was quick and we found a table right away. Sometimes there's something to be said for convenience.


* I also broke a bracket on my braces chewing the crust, so YMMV!

Hideous--just like any quick service pizza at WDW.

I would just skip pizza while you're down there, or, if you must, order delivery to your resort. At least you know what you're getting there.

Pizza is not Disney's strong suit.

Thanks for the help, I thinks we will give it a try! I'm not expecting the best, just not the worst. One review on allears stated, the sauce tasted like ketchup and water. I'm not getting that from any of you. My kids will love it!

For us it wasn't the greatest pizza ever but it was edible and did fill the spot

Being from Chicago also, I am VERY spoiled about pizza and what is really good.

That being said, I didn't think it was all that bad. More like a Pizza Hut pizza. Commercial but tasty.

We loved it last year, but they changed the crust this year and Dd had the gf pizza and she loved it.

I've never had Pizzafari. Too many other great places to eat at AK, I guess. I'm curious too though, I'll bet it's the same.

Aww try it if your son wants to!!! I love Pizza planet because Toy Story is one of my favorite movies...the pizza is ok not horrible. It's edible LOL.

I agree that it isn't horrible. It's nothing special. But good for a CS pizza place.

We ate there back on '03. It was ok, not great, but ok. We have plans on taking our kids back there again in November

We thought it was pretty good. For a CS credit you get a nice sized personal pizza, a small side salad, a drink, and a cookie, or huge rice krispie treat. My oldest DS was able to sub a bag of chips for the dessert.

It's pretty nasty. My kids love the arcade and the theme but the Pizza is not good IMO. We won't be going back.

We thought it was horrible. It was much worse than any frozen pizza I have ever had.

It was so bad that my 4 year old and my 2 year old wouldn't eat it. They'll eat Jack's, Tombstone, and just about any pizza that gets set in front of them.

We won't be back, but YMMV
